The Tortology of Value
We currently live in a system where some of the key dysfunctions, which include rising inequality, sluggish innovation, come from the fact that value extraction activities are passed for value creation. It becomes a tortology that value in itself is defined by the value that you apply to something. But as a principle that then shapes economic policy, I think your book shows very clearly how toxic that can be because you value what you value.
