The Importance of a Living Hope

Peter said life only has meaning if we have a hope that suffering and even death cannot destroy. He exhorts us to consider our need for a living hope because he says trials will come but they won't destroy you, they'll rather refine you. God sends trials to strengthen our trust in him so that our faith will not fail. Our trials keep us trusting.
