Is There a Blind Choice Model?
In a free choice model, you would rate a number of options according to your preference. Then after the initial rating task, you are asked to choose blindly between a binary subset for a hypothetical va on but you can't see what they are. You're just making a oice without any information at all. It's complete blind choice. And they also included a couple of control conditions where a computer made the decision for people. So you don't get to make a choice at all, to see if the perception of personal agency was important even though the choice was made blind.
