The book ends in a hopeful note. The prophets are not here just to be doom and gloom on one generation. They know that God's relationship with his covenant people is stronger than any temporary setback. If you don't listen to the Lord, then you might stop hearing him speak to you. And if we as disciples of Christ feel like we need God in our life more, then we need to look around ourselves who needs help.
Dr. Schade returns to explore the Book of Joel and a clarion call to return to the Lord and be prepared to meet Him.
