What Is the Function of the Symbolic?
If everything is included, it's fair to say that nothing has been left out. The symbolic has this logic. It is again a mathematical set theoretical logic. This is the set that purports to include everything. Here's the reason why it's always incomplete. Because there's always this something that is nothing that is left out.
