Madero's War on the Left

One of Madero's generals who failed to defeat a rebellion actually shot himself because he was afraid of what the papers would say. The press were absolutely savage. And then, in the first step, Madero tried to conciliate the defeated federal army as well. So instead of breaking it up, he tried to play nice with them. He disbanded the revolutionary forces. Now he needed the army to resist rebel general Pasquale Orozco and Zapata.
