The Changes in the Monarchy in the Last 70 Years

i think the monarchy has changed, but the changes have hardly been noticeable. If we go back to the time of the queen's accession in 19 52, britain was a very different country. The house of lords, house of commons, much more power shifted to the executive and army. And i think the queen has noticed that, and so perhaps even more has the prince of wales. They realize the monarchy rests on consent,. which is based not solely on the monarchy being seen, but on the monarchy actually being seen to do.
