The idea that congress, which can't fukan get anything done, is suddenly going to pass a bunch of reforms to make sure this doesn't happen again does seem a bit fanciful. But other than that, i agree with it. What i don't agree with is the lazy crutch of the false choicesye, well, the headline. And we can't truly blame david brooks for the headline like that.
