Is Syncretism Problematic?
The ancient myths have a little seed of understanding what Christ will ultimately reveal. And in those seeds, we can see something valuable. The symphony oracles are there, they're sort of part prophecy, part history,. There's so the two things are so interwoven that you can't actually separate them. Part of being able to understand the idea of a universal history is being able to also understand it in terms of apocalypse.
