Voting is a really pervasive feature of associational life, and typically straightforwardly majoritarian voting. It's not the case that a church or a corporation or a union schisms in the face of every disagreement,. Most disagreements, most of the time, you work them out. And part of what working them out means is at a certain point you vote.
