Is There a Cause and Effect on Crop Prices?

When we have higher inflation, banks tend to raise rates or at least they are right now. I think the two are running on different inputs. So food prices affect inflation. They are a big part of how we measure inflation. The positive to farms is it is what is called an inflation hedge asset. farmland tends to go up as there is inflation because crop prices are up so profitability is up.
