The Covenant Between God and the Earth

The first knife used in scripture to cut off flesh is what? Water. The New Testament repeatedly associates the flood with Baptism, right? Well okay, now I'm just getting off track. This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. Alright, Genesis 9, back on track. God has judged the earth with a flood. God has saved Noah and his family through the flood in the ark. Under the waters have started to recede, right? God makes a covenant with Noah. And never again shall there be a flood that destroy the earth.
