Twitter co-founder Oliver Gold talks about his time at the social networking site. The pair worked on a project called linker D which is an open source library for functional programming over RPC calls. They say that when they left Twitter their "only moment of taking genius" was to wrap it up in a proxy and give users automatic retries, instrumentation and other benefits.
