"I didn't actually think about that criticism. I only thought about it later after having finished the show," he said. "For the most part, yeah, Elrond is a weird-looking dude ... and I like it." The one thing he would mildly criticize when it comes to the casting of the elves is the vast age difference in a lot of the actors.
