The Importance of Skating in the NHL
I like to think that I've evolved greatly over the years. You learn from your mistakes. But lately, it's even the skating has taken a little bit of a dip down my list of requirements. It's all coming back to the brain. And obviously, you need to be a good skater to keep up in this league. That can take a step. If you're smart, you can get a jump on things and use every inch of ice if you're not the fastest skater.
