Some states have actually banned these programmes for the fully insured health plans that are under their jurisdiction. So there's a little bit of cheqkuered history here, says Chris Riddell. The administration basically band accumulator adjustment programes for brand name drugs where there wasn't a generic version available. But then they reversed course completely and allowed accumulator adjustment programmes in all cases.
