Maximus on the Deliberative Faculty
I actually like Maximus on the will. I've had a conversation with Jordan Daniel Wood recently who's sort of a Maximus scholar. He has a pretty great book on Maximus. And to me, it seems like one could imagine a perfection of the deliberative faculty as opposed to just an elimination of the deliberation faculty. Right? Where that's a kind of deliberation that's more clearly a bug and maybe there isn't any clear right thing because of the fallen world we live in.
