Freud collected over 2,000 antiquities during his lifetime and he started collecting these objects at a really interesting point in his life. Miriam Leonard from University College London is one of the curators of our current exhibition Freud's Antiquity, Object, Idea, Desire. She tells us about how she became fascinated by the relationship betweenthese objects in Freud's workspace and the representation of antiquity in Freud's writing.
