Drard: The Primary Importance of Christ's Death and Why Christ Sacrificed Himself

Drard's reading of Christ's death is that he set up the perfect trap for the scapegoat mechanism. He explicitly said he was there to defend the victims from Abel, the first victim in the Hebrew Bible to Zachariah,. So he was explicitly calling out scapegoating. And so that gave the persecutors two choices: One, you don't shut him up; or you shut him up. But that silencing became the loud message which shouted his message.
