The Immutable Nature of Python

The goal of the platform is to make it so you can write regular idiomatic Pandas code and just have that scale. We haven't done all of the functions, but we're working towards that. The place where you really see differentiation is when you've got some kind of structure that doesn't fit nicely into MapReduce. It turns out that it's very easy to describe this in Python. You just have two different loops, one in one direction, one inone in the other. And you kind of alternate back and forth between them as you're updating the model.
