The Problem With T&O's Public Talks
When T&O did actually show up, there were there was a sort of regimented order to things. Public talks permitted only a short question and answer session. Members would stand on stage with T&O and act as what they called buffers because they had to absorb the negative energy from the audience. In 1976 Bonnie Nettles uncharacteristically stood up and announced that the doors to the next level were closed.
