Cohere's Language Models - What's the Difference?
Cohere builds language models that are based on transformers. That's the same underlying tech that OpenAI uses. We put a lot of effort into making these models particularly useful for business applications. For instance, we just released an embedding model that can do search. And it can do search over 100 different languages. So those little differences of us not being interested in AGI but instead being interested in solving problems bear out across what we're prioritizing.
