How Did You Get Into Psychedelics and Religion?
In his PhD thesis on religion and psychedelics he looked at the question of whether or not you can make yourself believe in God. He found that while it's not really possible to choose directly what you believe, you can definitely indirectly influence what you end up believing by engaging with repetitive actions and rituals. And from there he wrote a book called The By the Action in the Human Mind which is about how God interacts with physical realities.
