I Spoke About the Importance of Domain Specificity in Education
I spoke about the need for domain specificity when thinking about expertise rather than just thinking about how do people learn or how do people become experts you have to ask questions like how is it different becoming an expert swimmer versus an expert brain surgeon. Then I spoke about biographical data being something that we can use to fit in our understanding because really people have a learning process that lasts many years and it can last a decade or more than a decade so we need to look a little bit at how people move through that process if we can. And then I spoke about economic and social questions about the value of education how I still feel like there's a lot of work for me to do there to clarify
