The Role of Congress in Retirement Accounts
The labor department has ruled that retirement fund managers can take into account environmental social governance factors when deciding how to invest. Congress passed a resolution saying no labor department, you may not say that. President Biden just recently vetoed that resolution and now puts us back at the beginning where the labor department says it's OK. "I kind of fall where you do," he said. So long as it's not mandatory, I say it's actually a good thing. Let people decide for themselves."
