Tom's Violent Attack on Jeremy and Heather

When Jeremy and Heather arrived at the motel room, the man calling himself Tom told them that his business partner would be arriving shortly to check over the equipment. When an exhausted Jeremy grew tired of hanging around, he asked if they could simply close the deals so he could begin the long drive back to Nashville. To his horror, Tom produced a handgun from his waistband before telling the couple, I think we can close this deal right now. Yet as they lay there, wrapped up in the bed sheets, Tomproduced a hammer, stood over Jeremy's body, and then struck him in the head with it.
