The whole thing is set in Edinburgh. Might be very difficult for them to understand because it was difficult for me to understand on occasions. They speak with a very strong accents. I don't know if you've ever read the book. No because I hate books that write speech in dialect. I find it really irritating. It's written phonetically so the way that the local characters speak is actually spelled out. The spelling is different and the whole thing's written in this strong accent.
