Will Climate Change Destroy Agriculture?

As with heat stress, we'll probably be able to adapt to these changes. The fact that it will take centuries for sea levels to rise completely means this adaptation will likely be much easier. It seems that a 1 meter sea level rise would displace around half a billion people from their homes. But with adaptation, like building flood defences, the number of people displaced would be much smaller. With more extreme warming, higher temperatures will directly affect agriculture. There may also be some positive effects of climate change on agriculture.
