Tamara Chikatilo's Story

In 1983, Michael Cottran found bones and scraps of flesh in a drain leading from an apartment block. The remains were taken to Hornsey mortuary who deduced that the remains were human. Homicide detectives staked out the flat where they believed the body was coming from. When asked why he had killed so much, the man responded: I was hoping you could tell me." Tamara's story is yet another case of a killer hiding in plain sight, taunting authorities with hints of their own guilt.
