When you start peeling back the onion, what you start to find is petty grievance. I mean, and that's the heart of reactionary politics, right? And you can see it in modern discourse too, where there's like, they can dress it up in rhetoric that is often expressly left-wing if not just sort of gesturing toward left-wing ideals. That's what I see here. Is this the dressing up of these weird reactionary complaints about daily life in cities and shit like that, as like this global issue?"
