Barrett's Lost Masterpiece

Barrett Adler and Monk recorded a handful of tracks that were never released. The one solo gig he ever played with the band who backed him on Barrett lasted four songs, and he wowed off halfway through the fourth. Around this time there was a general resurgence in interest in Barrett after David Bowie had recorded a version of C Emily play on his cover album Pin-Ups. But given that the titles of those tracks were things like Boogie number 1, Boogie number 2, Slow Boogie, Fast Boogie, Chooka Chooka chug, and John Lee Hooker, I suspect we're not missing out on our Lost Masterpiece.
