State cutting can be used to cut the stake in enterprise sales. One of first questions you should ask when it's starting to get serious is like yeah so what's your pricing perspective? You don't want to go straight to discounting because you've done all this work boosting the value. If someone comes back and says oh well we really need the budget to be lowered then that would probably still happen. It's hard to defend an extra 10 percent on a contract if they come up for renewal.
