The Committee on Cooperation and Plan of Union had a meeting in Philadelphia in early 1920, which they brought everyone together from these other denominations. And so that's why this also becomes known in literature or history books as the Philadelphia Plan of Union. They agreed to change this from anorganic union of evangelical churches to an organic union of the Christian church. The name change led to 109 press press attorneys overturing the assembly because of the name change.
