I Think the Sustainability of Tresonomics Is Not Guaranteed at All
I think what we're seeing is not a purest form of trisonomics. Lis tras is having to implement the bulk of her economic orthodoxy, and at the same time introduce a huge state intervention. You can't do everything at once without without actually damaging your own policies. And if the tories go into an election in 20 24 with an incredibly rising debt to gDP ratio, which is already near a hundred %, that's not a great ticket on which to campaign for the next prime minister.
