I did that product learning at GitHub. So the last project I worked on was with a bunch of the folks that are now PlanScale. The thing that the hardest learning is, once you have a distribution advantage, you get very lazy. It's really hard to break out of that and start back it where no one knows your brand or what you do. You can't bluff engineers, especially back in engineers. And so we don't try this kind of hyper-marketing overhyper marketing. We just talk about what we value as engineers...and then give everyone who reads our blog some value"
