Leicester's Unrest Is a Manifesto of Islamism

BBC Monitoring looked at over 200,000 tweets as a sample to see what was happening in Leicester. At least half of these accounts that were on Twitter had popped up in the last month and came from India pushing an agenda that is pro-Hindu and anti-Muslim. For those in Leicester, the trajectory of these disturbances now shows a worrying similarity to the polarization occurring in India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindi Nationalist Party (BJP) Yasmin Serti of the Federation of Muslim Organisations says the problem has been overlooked for too long.
