The History of the United States

October of 2002 was a very tense time in America, just a year before the 9-11 attacks had occurred. Of the four planes that were hijacked, two brought down the Twin Towers in New York City but the other two were aimed at targets in Washington, D.C. The public was also in a state of tension because there were concerns that the leader of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, had weapons of mass destruction including bioweapons.
