The Dopamine Hit of Learning JavaScript

With TypeScript and Node.js becoming extremely stable, there's just so much you can learn from that one language to apply it to really any language after that. The patterns that you learn in Node for routing, for authentication, for everything, those can be almost one to one applied in something like Python as well. Yeah, I mean, the reason that I oftentimes recommend people start with web development is because with just HTML and CSS, it's so easy to learn comparatively in the world of software engineering.
