How to Help Your Child Through a Melt Down
We see a lot of kids in our population who will come back later and be very apologetic and kind of shameful sometimes, about the way that they acted. Yet i don't think we recognize that it is scary for kids when they are intense and emotional. So often they're not in control at those times. You know, they have been higjack they have been flooded, and it can be really frightening for them. And there's a lot that we can do as parents, or as adults in the room to guide kids through that and descalate and let them help them processes so that in he they can do it by themselves.
