Foreign Policy - Is There a Consensus?
Foreign policy has been so disconnected from the american populace for so long that you have effectively grouped, think, within the people who actually make it in the foreign policy field, that they're effectively all liberal internationalists. So ye, i don't think the consensus is fracturing. But there's a lot of disagreement within the so called restraint camp about what the united states should do viso v china. And more anti imperialist, whether of the left or the libertarian right,. basically thinking the united states really can't remain heg monic in these and that should be facilitating some form of security transition.
