I believe that women can be leaders, and we see that in the old testament. But i where i do depart from maybe even some of my colleagues on the stage, is that when it came to setting up the church, those scriptures are talking about an office, not a gift. When people are called to eldership or pastorate, that god has called men to those rolls. I don't think that i'm taking that scripture in isolation. Because the bible is the best comentary for itself.
