The first year or two of franchising is work, but after that you have a lot of choices. Depending on people's personalities, they could be really controlling and then maybe go on those extended vacations as they see fit. I got told by a very wise, successful man, much older than me,. He was well into his 80s and I was probably 35 at the time. That's not me. I am never going to retire. But I'm taking more vacations now than ever, which isn't much.
