If you don't have a portfolio, why should this person trust you? There are three pathways to consider here. You can actually do kind of a portfolio approach to all three of these things. This is what I believe has the most long term potential if you're trying to build a sustainable business. The second path is what I call subcontracting. Basically, instead of working directly with a client, you are working with somebody else who is working direct with a client.
