Rail and Transit - What's the Future of Transportation?
Transit works really well when there are a lot of places going from going. But if you have everyone coming from and going to a different place, then what they need is some form of transportation that is individualized like a car. In the future, maybe some kind of mobility as a service with some degree of shared writing. It's going to be much more flexible and decentralized than rail transit for the vast majority of commuting trips in the large majority of American metro areas.
