The question really is, how do objects behave when they enter the earth's atmosphere? To me, the big puzzle is still. Any rocky object larger than a sory, smaller than forty, 50 meters, it will completely fragment in the atmosphere. That's why we don't see an impact riter from tunguska or elavinsk. There are still many things that we need to look into more.
