Russian and Belarusian Players Banned From Competing at Wimbledon This Year
Pope Francis said that the Vatican is involved in a peace mission to try and end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Tennis player Veronica Kudomatova will remove sponsor's logo from her kit so she can compete at Wimbledon this year. The British Tennis Championship has accepted Russian and Belarusian players as neutral athletes after they were banned last year due to the invasion.
