This book is not really about dealing with a challenging child infant, but it's about motherhood and seeking one's identity within and outside of motherhood. A Ghost in the Throat by a poet whose Irish name I cannot pronounce: It's about this mother and poet who becomes obsessed with a classic Irish ballad text.
