Is Texture More Important Than Melody?

Is texture more important than melody to you? Texture is what i start from usually, because i'm very sonesthetic. I like textures that have a grip to them and give you something to go into. And then for me, once i have gottn my grip on the texture, i find there's all the melodies and all the harmonies already contained. Because basically o texture in the end, is a combination of so many tones and overtones that you can't find everything in there. It's just, there's something that feels me both like i am a musician, but right now i am a sound explorer, and that can explore these hidden worlds of sound.
