I Think the Book Opens Up a Conversation About Marxism
I think it opens up a conversation. It provides an opportunity to put a particular register of like Marxism which was developed in the 20th century and has come to dominate. I'm not sure that the answers that he offers us unnecessarily particularly helpful ones. He takes a set period but there are mass movements around the world which define themselves as Marxist Leninist and are black. And I don't think he speaks enough to how those movements reconcile themselves with Marxism.
