How to Get Off Hormone Therapy in Women Over 60
There's a difference between starting hormonal therapy in a woman over 60 versus continuing it in a woman who was under 60. People who are high risk, you know, probably should avoid putting them on hormone replacement therapy. Low risk patients would be good candidates. Maybe they have an old CT scan that shows like heavy coronary calcifications. If they haven't had a formal CAC score or if they have a strong family history, maybe that would push you more against using it.
